The School of Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering is committed to prepare technically qualified, skilled, and competent human resource through excellent teaching and hands-on training. The focus of this school is on the core concepts of manufacturing, design and analysis, material sciences, mechanics, thermodynamics, etc. Students are also taken through the design, construction, and maintenance of civil projects. Under the guidance of our illustrious faculty members, students gain knowledge, industry-relevant education, and ample opportunities to explore and innovate.
Our globally acclaimed faculty inspires and guides students to explore the subject beyond traditional boundaries. They are encouraged to take up internships and file patents at the undergraduate level. This makes them future-ready for every professional challenge in a global scenario.
As part of the 250+ international exchange opportunities, students and faculty have gone for advanced studies and research at reputed universities/institutions in South Korea, Taiwan, China and USA. Students have also been awarded fellowships to meet their boarding, lodging and tuition expenses at several universities.
The school has advanced laboratories for Heat and Mass Transfer, IC engine, Manufacturing, Automation/Robotics, Computer-Aided Designs, Civil Engineering and Environment Engineering. The school has received research and infrastructural grants in recent years from agencies such as DST & HIMCOSTE.
